Trust in God

Jesus said, “Do not worry, saying “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?”  For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.  But seek first God’s kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:31-33)

Obedience to God

Jesus said, “If you love me, your will obey what I command.” (John 14:21)

Jesus said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word God and obey it. (Luke 11:28)

Jesus Said, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching.  My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.  He who does not love me will not obey my teaching.” (John 15:10)

Integrity

Jesus said, “In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”(Matthew 7:12)

Humility

Jesus said, “Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” (Luke 18:14)

Jesus said, “Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:4)

Self- Denial

Jesus said, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.  For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.  What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?  Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:24-26)
