The Salvation StoryIn the beginning, God the Father created man and woman, the the man and woman failed to follow God's only request and law: "Do not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil." The evil one, the devil in the form of a serpent, deceived the woman and man into believing that God was hiding the tree of knowledge from them, and that if the man and woman ate from the tree, they would be like God in every way. They chose to eat from the tree, and sinned against God.
This is the original sin that separated mankind from our God, Yahweh. God promised the man that one day he would send a redeemer into the world to save His people and all the people of the world.
Jesus is the Messiah for all of Israel and the whole world. The moment Jesus died on the cross at Calvary over 2000 years ago, and Jesus offered his sacrificial body and blood for our sins, and for those of the man and the woman, all of humanity was no longer separated from the one true God, Yahweh, God fulfilled his promise to send a Messiah to pay the price for the sins of the whole world.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
